The Vikings Gymnastic Team defeated Louisville, Perry, and Green in their first competition of the season. The gymnasts put up a massive 129.65. Leading the Vikings was Brooke Mazanec who placed second on Beam (8.4) and Floor (9.2). She was fourth on Bars (8.3) and vault (8.6). She also placed third in the All Around (34.5).
