Free Wrestling Youth Clinic Information

Attention all parents and youth athletes grade 3rd – 6th, the North Canton Wrestling program will conduct a free youth clinic on Oct. 28, 29, and 30th.  Come join the sport that supports all shapes and sizes.  A sport that will teach young men and ladies a strong work ethic, how to deal with adversity,

Winter Sports Information

MS/HS Wrestling: No tryouts. First day of practice at Hoover High School’s wrestling room for middle school and high school will be November 15. 3:30-5:30- MS 3:30-5:45 – HS HS Bowling: Tryouts will be November 1 at Park Centre Lanes from 3:15-4:45 pm(You will know if you made the team by 4:45). November 2- Parent meeting

Attention Middle School Wrestlers and Parents:

Varsity Head Coach Nick Gamble will be at the MS library on Oct 27th during the lunch periods to oversee MS wrestling sign up and provide info to the kids.

Great Season Wrestlers

Congratulations to the North Canton wrestlers, on a  successful weekend at the OHSAA Wrestling State Tournament.  Senior Dillon Smith placed 5th at 220 pounds and junior Luke Reicosky placed 7th at 170 pounds.  Both wrestlers were also recognized as Academic All Ohio as well.

Congratulations to the North Canton Wrestling team on a 10th place finish at the District Tournament.  Dillon Smith was the district champ at 220 pounds and Luke Reicosky was the district runner-up at 170 pounds.  These two wrestlers will be competing this weekend at the State Tournament in Columbus.

Two Vikings will move on to the State Tournament in Columbus. Those Vikings are 220 pound district champion Dillon Smith and 170 pound district runner-up Luke Reicosky. Great job gentlemen. 6 Hoover Wrestlers Advance to the District Wrestling Meet Held at Hoover High School Starting Friday, March 3rd.

The North Canton Wrestling team finished 3rd at the Sectional Tournament on Saturday. Six wrestlers qualified for the District Tournament. Dillon Smith was champion, Luke Reicosky and Ben Smith were both runner-ups, Jonah Wakser and Tyler Hugill took 3rd, while Bruce Wolff placed fourth. Good Luck to all as they advance to Districts this week
